Indrė Jaskūnienė (born 1972) is a professional graphic artist whose work is acclaimed for her masterful command of the etching technique and her distinctive, irony-filled artistic style. In Indrė Jaskūnienė’s work, we see contemporary values expressed through the austere forms of classical art. The stories she creates with her professional, distinctive style are imbued with irony and the uniqueness of her characters.

The artist earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in graphic arts (specializing in printmaking) from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. She primarily creates works using the etching technique. Since 1994, she has held three solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions, the most recent of which include: the book art exhibition “Illustration and the Book” in Vilnius (2015), the 1st Print Biennale India at the Lalit Kala Academy in New Delhi (2018), and a postcard exhibition on the theme of migration at the “Centotto” gallery in Brooklyn (USA), organized in collaboration with the cultural association “Officina 15” in Bologna, Italy (2019).
